All users of After Effects has ever found the need to render a composition and to continue working while in the program,

seemingly simple thing but After Effects does so easily. Yes, it can be done in a roundabout way and running a script or opening a command line.

Now with these applications created by Andrew Hake have it easier. This is Aeae and Aerender . The first of these utilities allows us to open multiple instances of After Effects at a time and able to work jumping from one to another, although it is not possible to cut or paste information from one application to another.

The second of these applications, Aerender allows us to render in the background without having to open the After Effects interface, not eating and extra memory. It just runs in a command window and dragging them compositions, after setting the render queue, the render in the background while we can continue working.

Here's a tutorial on its use:

A 10 to Andrew for giving us a bit our hours of rendering.
